QMTest (www.qmtest.com) is an open-source, cross-platform software testing tool written in Python. QMTest provides automatic support for parallel execution of tests across distributed systems. We will discuss the pluggable component architecture used in QMTest, the choice of Python as an implementation language, and our experience using QMTest to test the GNU Compiler Collection. A brief demonstration of QMTest will be included in the talk.
