William H. Winsborough is a Research Scientist at NAI Labs, the
security research division of Network Associates, Inc. From
1996-2000, Dr. Winsborough was a member of the Transarc Research Group
of IBM Transarc Lab--a group that he managed from 1998 to 2000. From
1990 to 1996 he was an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the
Pennsylvania State University. From 1988 to 1990 he was a Research
Associate at the University of Chicago and Argonne National
Laboratory. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the
University of Wisconsin--Madison in 1988. His research interests
include distributed authorization systems and computer security, as
well as logic programming, abstract interpretation, static analysis
and program transformation. He has about 20 refereed conference and
journal publications.
