How do you maintain the protocol security on the Interent? What does it mean? In this talk, I'll describe two recent results on this topic. In particular, I'll show that if all users have access to a common random string, protocols such as Zero-Knowledge Proofs of Knowledge and Commitment Protocols can be achieved with very strong security guarantees.
