Information technology evolves. Every year brings new tools, new abilities, and new opportunities. Unfortunately as exciting and promising as these changes are, they bring with them new risks. This presentation considers some of the recent changes in information technology and how they will affect security issues. It will examine changes in technology, attack trends and even the attackers themselves. The presentation is not intended to suggest any specific course of action, but rather to provide an understanding of these issues and motivate additional discussion and interest. After the initial introduction, the presentation will examin some of the recent threats to new mobile platforms, including a detailed look at the Cabir worm.
