Zion National Park
The second stop during our Spring break trip was Zion National Park. We camped a night and did some day hikes the following day. Nancy and Xuanming hiked up Angel's Landing while Serene and I hiked up Observation Point. We stayed in Vegas the following night where we had an immense buffet at the Paris casino. It rained very heavily in Vegas while we were there so we didn't get to walk for long along the strip.
South Campground

We stayed at the South Campground during our night in Zion. I somehow dropped my house key the next morning and we spent several worried minutes wondering where it might be until Serene miraculously found it. It was pretty cold that night and that was when I realised that I needed to get a new sleeping bag.
Observation Point

Since we had already hiked up Angel's Landing on our previous trip to Zion, Serene and I hiked up to Observation Point this time. This hike was the first that we did with poles and we're now converts. I don't know why I didn't pick up a pair of hiking poles earlier since using poles made going both up and down significantly easier.
